Tita Terry, like her mother, always made sure you ate. She’s a caring and selfless person, who always had room for everyone in her heart. Once she told me that she would be my grandma, since my one passed on and the other one was in the Philipines, and she would take me to the movies every week. Although she is gone, our memories we shared will always be with me and she’ll be forever in my heart.

To Benny & Family:
Words cannot express how sorry we feel with the lost of a wonderful wife and mother and most especially a SINCERE FRIEND.
Our fondest memory of Terry is her warmth, sincerity, her honesty and above all “A REAL REFINE LADY.”

God saw she……
God saw she was getting tired,
And a cure was not to be…
So He put his arms around her
And whispered “Come with me.”
With tearful eyes we watched her suffer
And saw her fade away,
Although we couldn’t bear to lose her,
We could not make her stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands laid to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
That He only takes the best.
With deepest condolences.

Since becoming friends with Cherry in the mid-seventies from family parties to camping to Mama trying to marry me off to her nephews in the Philippines, I was welcomed into this family and at times felt closer to it than my own. As I already had a mother, growing up I thought of Terry as a wonderful aunt, always willing to talk and listen – knowing if I ever lost my mom she would step into that role with ease. The picture I will always have of Terry is in the kitchen all dressed preapring food for a party – laughing, dancing and singing off key, of course! As an oyster leaves behind a beautiful, precious pearl, the love and joy Terry shared with all will remain in our hearts and memories forever. My love to you all…
