As I reflect on my memories of Terry, so many things stand out about this remarkable woman. But one thing that I saw over and over, was that her children, grandchildren and family were the most important things in life to her. Her unconditional love and willingness to do anything for us, will always give me the guidance in life to be the type of person she was. Terry will be missed so much, but I truly believe that we all have a new guardian angel in heaven watching over us, protecting us, and guiding us through our lives here on earth. You will always be in our hearts and thoughts.

  2. Tito Benny and Kids:It is only a matter of time befor it is “our time to mourn”. It comes uninvited and is never in a hurry to leave. To some measure,it will occupy a room in our hearts for a long time. We are never the same after a loved one departs our midst. We get through it but never over it.From God will come the strength to carry on . Our consolation comes in knowing that she’s in a better place where pain is unknown. I pray that wherever she is she’ll be able to give a great hug and a big kiss to my Dad,who we all miss.

  3. I have known and worked with Terry for 15 years. She was a very special person. Alway smiling and laughing. She was loved by many people her at work and she will be missed. My warmest condolences to her family.

Being her last baby, I’m really going to miss my mommy. At the same time, I am so thankful that she was our mother to begin with, and a mother to many she was. My sadness is put aside as I know that she is no longer in pain. And I will thank God every day for blessing me with a beautiful family and wonderful friends, who will help take care of me, as I will of them, from this day on. I am including a beautiful song by one of my favorite artisits, Sade. It is called “It’s Only Love That Gets You Through”. It’s speaks of our mother…

    Girl you are rich
    even with nothing
    You know tenderness
    comes from pain
    It’s amazing how you love
    And love is kind
    and love can give
    and get no gain

    It’s down a rugged road you’ve come
    Though you had every reason
    you didn’t come undone
    Somehow you made it to
    the other side
    You didn’t suffer in vain

    You forgive those who have
    trespassed against you
    And you know tenderness
    comes from pain
    It’s amazing how you love
    And love is kind
    and love can give
    and love needs
    No gain

    You didn’t suffer in vain
    You know it’s only love
    that gets you through
    Only love
Only love that gets you through

I will remember Tita Terry in a great outfit with perefct shoes as she welcomed people into her home. She had so much energy, buzzing around like a bee. She was always busy, but never too busy to give you a warm hug and a smile. She was truely amazing raising 6 head-strong children, who grew up to be just as wonderful as her. Somehow she pulled it all off and looked great too! I’ll will have fond memories of her.

Love to the entire Santos Family
    Eleanor
