Obituary
Rita Hope Dietrich, left us to meet our heavenly father on June 3, 2011. She was in declining health and lost her battle due to heart disease.
Born on June 16, 1929 in New York, NY, she was the loving wife of Roy Dietrich deceased, mother of five children, Roy Jr., Dan, Heather, Eric and Lydia and Nana to her 6 grandchildren.
Rita and her husband, Roy, resided in Long Island, NY, Broken Arrow, OK, and Menifee, CA. She lived her final days with her daughter, Lydia, and son-in-law, Tony and her 2 grandchildren in Mission Viejo, CA.
Loved by all who knew her. Our fond and cherished memories will always remain forever with us in our hearts. She will surely be missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Rita can be sent to St. Kilian Catholic Church.

To the Dietrich family,
I know what a loving family you all are and how lucky your Mother was to have so many children and grandchildren who loved her. Please take care of each other during this trying time and remember all the good times you shared.
I will keep you all in my prayers
Wendy

My heart goes out to you, Rita’s beloved family and friends. What a lovely lady she was and what a lucky lady to be so blessed with a beautiful family who was not only her pride and joy, but also who bound together and were right by her side during her illness.
Rita touched my life as I am sure that she touched others, always upbeat no matter how she was feeling. The story that she shared with me about her husband Roy, carrying a lock of her hair in his wallet for 40 years, without her knowlege, is a story that romance novels can only hint at. She was greatly loved by all and she will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
