Obituary

Rita Hope Dietrich, left us to meet our heavenly father on June 3, 2011. She was in declining health and lost her battle due to heart disease.

Born on June 16, 1929 in New York, NY, she was the loving wife of Roy Dietrich deceased, mother of five children, Roy Jr., Dan, Heather, Eric and Lydia and Nana to her 6 grandchildren.

Rita and her husband, Roy, resided in Long Island, NY, Broken Arrow, OK, and Menifee, CA. She lived her final days with her daughter, Lydia, and son-in-law, Tony and her 2 grandchildren in Mission Viejo, CA.
Loved by all who knew her. Our fond and cherished memories will always remain forever with us in our hearts. She will surely be missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Rita can be sent to St. Kilian Catholic Church.

  1. I will miss my visits with Rita…she always made me laugh and I loved asking her how she didn’t go crazy raising 5 kids! She had a positive outlook in spite of her failing health…a testament to her faith in God…she is at peace.
    Love, Suzanne
