Yes Linda, you said it the way I will always remember Rich. I remember how he would always be so perfectly dressed and I always admired how so many of his employees loved him and at the same time respected him for his knowledge and he seemed to have a light to everyone he touched. This has really hurt me to learn that he is no longer on this earth, but maybe in a better place and no more pain.

  3. There are no other words, but to say so sorry for your loss. I worked with Rich over the last few years and enjoyed working through complex issues and always finding solutions with his creative approach. I will remember him as someone who enjoyed challenges and never forget nothing is as serious as we make them to be. Rich reminded everyone it is OK to laugh a little. You will be missed.

  4. What a shock, I don’t know what to say. So sad. I always enjoyed working with Rich, late hours for me, early hours for him but always brought a smile on my face. I met him once in Las Vegas and the Californian sunshine shone through.

  5. For some moments in life there are no words. You were a positive influence on all that you touched here at IBM – a true professional, a leader by example and word, and someone I looked up to and admired.
