   I want to the celebrate the life of a blessed man, Gerard Mowbray. A man that loved God, his wife and his family. A wise, honest and hard working man, someone that I have always held in high esteem. And so it is with a tear in my eye that I raise my glass to you Gerry. You truely are a blessed man and will be missed.

   I loved Gerry and fondly remember our time together working in the travel industry and serving in the church. He was a man I could trust. His kind, thoughtful, compassionate and fun nature, and his ability to talk about just about anything, attracted me to him. On Wednesday, as I was driving in Irvine, I got a sense that he was saying goodbye. It was a special moment, with this special man. Sheila, John, Peter, Catherine and Diane, I’m sorry for your loss.
