   Loved standing next to Gerry during Sunday morning mass at Saint John Neumann. Fine gentleman with a rich baritone voice. I used to show up extra early so that I could be sure to stand next to him because he was usually note-perfect and helped me when I was new to the group. A great tour guide on many trips to the UK and Europe. I will miss his sharp wit and great sense of humor. Safe travels Gerry and say HI to the big guy for me. -Andy

   Where do I start, Gerard was my mum Maureens 1st cousin & they have always been so close sadly my mum is not well enough to comment but I know she would send her love & prayers! Gerard & Sheila came more into my life when at the age of 18 I went to stay with them for 6 weeks a real adventure for a girl from England! They welcomed me into their family which is where ive been ever since! when I lost my own Dad 28years ago Gerard became a 2nd Dad to me always there with love & advice! I could have listened to his beautiful voice forever we always had so much to talk about usually involving family & politics both British & American! He & Sheila always looked forward to the british tea that I sent for bithdays & during the year thankfully he had just received my last parcel he always said if I was ever stuck for what to send the tea was what they most welcomed! im so thankful he was such a major part of my life & for being part of his children & grandchildrens lives! Even though 6000 miles away I feel close to everyone & want you all to know along with Gerard you are all in my thoughts & prayers constantly! I love you all & send big hugs! love Barbara xxxxxxxx
