   I met Gerry 13 years ago at a picnic at St. John Neumann. He stroke me as a really nice fellow. Over the years I learned to appreciate his kindness and thoughtfulness, enjoyed our casual chats, and inspired me as a father. It’s been nice to see Gerry and John interact, and I hope that my kids and I will have the kind of relationship that Gerry and John shared.

   In the last few years, thanks to John inviting me to sing in the Traditional Choir, I got to enjoy singing with Gerry. I’ll remember fondly singing mid-night masses with Gerry.

   Gerry, you will be missed.
