  1. During this pandemic…..With sadness in our hearts we lost a great friend and part of my friends and family circle yesterday

Charles Schook “Charlie or Uncle Charlie” he was such a fun guy always joking with me asking me to leave my man and hang out with him lol he was such a flirt but always bantering with me and always good fun!

He had a great sense of humor, loved to drink his cold and loved to watch sports at his sister Anne’s house on the weekends He loved to talk cars and also restore them He loved his family so much and they loved him right back

I will always remember your smile and laughter and your hugs on the last day I saw you SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!

RIP CHARLIE YOU WILL BE MISSED DEARLY BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN

Sending love to all that knew him

My dear brother, I will miss you more than I could ever say!!! I Thank you for bringing me out here to spend our last years together!!! We lost our buddy, brother!!’ Too soon!!! But will see you again on my final journey.. love you forever

    1. Dearest Anne Veturis: I wanted to offer my condolences to you and your husband, Ed , for the loss of your brother – Charlie had a beautiful soul!

He had a face, smoke and voice that you immediately liked , and he made ppl feel like they knew him forever! I remember he had posted an ad about fixing cars , and I called to ask about my old Mercedes ” and, without hesitation, he said “Come see me and let’s see what I can do!” I didn’t get the job done bc I had to leave for a family emergency in FL , but, we stayed in touch over the years. I tried to reach him last year , but, I was too devastated after I lost my brother ” to return to CA. Then, with the CoVid lockdown , it wasn’t easy traveling or being around anyone.

I just tried calling the 2 numbers I had hit him , and when you hear that pre-recorded message about the number has been disconnected ” at our age, we just know there’s no phone in Heaven.

I know he’s there , and I will keep him, you and all who knew and loved him , in my prayers. I know one day ” I’ll be able to do that in person , and he’ll be that same nice guy, with a big smile who will greet me!

What a blessing GOD gave you in a brother to share your life with!
