    Dear Shannon, Dani & Brett,

Behind every good man – there is a good woman. Shannon, you and Tyler complemented and completed each other.

Tyler gave us handyman services without exuberant fees, cash loans without interest, truck rentals without paying for extra insurance, medical advice without the co-pay. He even shopped at Nordstrom instead of watching the Lakers game – just to please you and to put a little commission in your friend’s pocket. He also drove all the way to Trabuco Canyon just for dinner to support your friend and to leave a generous tip.
He never seemed to mind whenever you hosted girlie parties for us. The perfect gentleman that he was – he would always peek his head in to greet us and make sure we had everything and that you were ok. He would then disappear with Dani & Brett so we could take over his home. All with a huge smile – making all of us feel so welcome and never expecting anything in return.

He was the Sean Connery of Laguna Niguel. He was a man’s man and every one of your co-workers – dream husband. NOT that we don’t love our significant others dearly – but just Tyler’s being was so infectious and wonderful. Not to mention his gosh darn good looks!

No one could help but see right through this man and knew that “What you see is what you get.”

Thank you Shannon – for sharing your beloved husband and soul mate with us.
Thank you Dani & Brett – for sharing the best father ever with us.
Tyler will always be in our hearts.

Love, Cindi, Joanie, Cyndee, Debra, Elizabeth

Although I cannot physically be there with you, my heart is. Please know that I only have the fondest memories of Tyler……..I will never forget launching water balloons off the back patio, b-day parties, dinners, Christmases, Easter egg hunts, long summer days at the beach and the infamous “club”….the list could go on and on! But the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Tyler is how whenever he saw me, he greeted me with a huge smile, a big hug and ….”Hey Brittany Lee!” Tyler Mimm, always in our hearts!

    Dear Shannon,Dani,Brett,Greg, Joanne and family,
My most heartfelt condolensces as our world really lost a “Giant”. To me Tyler was bigger than life itself. I was one of the lucky one’s who got spend some real time with Tyler both professionally and leisurely. He truly has impacted my life and he will always be etched in my thoughts. He was a Mentor to me at a time in my life when I needed one. Of the many experiences I shared with him one stands out. He needed a Santa Claus one year so me not having kids or really spending any time around openly voluntered. Around the 5th or 6th kid Tyler pulls me aside and says “Stop telling all those kids their getting whatever they ask for ” you just promised ponies to those three little girls!”. I was never asked to play Santa again!. I also remember him calling on a Saturday morning requesting a mano y mano day consisting of surf fishing, beers, tacos and cigars it was best!. Tyler was the Light from which my lantern and many other’s were lit from. I will see you again Tylotus. Your Brojido forever, Farley

  4. Shannon, Dani, and Brett:

I have just been informed of this very unfortunate news and am at a loss of words. I am very sorry to hear about your families loss. Thinking about Tyler immediately triggers adjectives such as Fun, Outgoing, Friendly, and Genuine. I am sending my condolences from abroad and am sorry I was not there for the service. The community has lost a great man but his legacy will be remembered through his family and friends, sparking only happy thoughts and smiles in his memory.

  5. Tyler was the man who made me want to become a Physical Therapist. He always seemed to enjoy life, both at work and with his family. His love of the outdoors and sports was contagious. I will always have fond memories of the Newport Spoortsmedicine clinic, the people that worked there and those that benefited from Tyler’s skill and kindness. Shannon, Dani and Brett if there is anything that I can do please don’t hesitate to ask. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
