Obituary

Sabrina Camm, beloved daughter and sister, passed away on August 30, 2018.
Sabrina was known to be a beautiful soul, was very giving and empathetic. She loved to have fun and make jokes. She loved her family, and loved to laugh and get silly with her brothers.
From 5 years on, Sabrina wanted to be a teacher and would often set up her stuffed animals to be her students in a classroom.  She requested an overhead projector – the only thing she wanted for Christmas- to use in her ‘classroom.’ She loved children, especially those with special needs. Her elective in high school was working as a special needs student aide.
Another love was her caring and compassion for animals.  Often she would rescue an animal and bring it home.  Today there is still DoeDee aka Roxy, her first dog, Princess or Mommy, another dog, Mr. B or Bun, a bunny, Rosie, aka Rosalita, a guinea pig, and Gary, a rescue desert tortoise, living at home. Sabrina was known to sneak cats into her room at home even though her mom is allergic. One of the cats she succeeded in keeping -Marley- now lives at her father’s home.
Some of her exceptional talents included being a barista and making the best juice drinks ever.  Most recently she was aspiring to be a Drug Rehab Counselor at Hoag Hospital.
Surviving her are her mother, Sonya (Joel) Camm-Prescott, her father, Sam Camm, her brothers Patrick(Jessica) Beard and Sammy Camm.  Services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, September 8, 2018, at The Crossing Church, 2115 Newport Boulevard, Costa Mesa, CA.

  3. I didn’t know her but am a brother in Christ from the Crossing…I read her obituary and it brought tears to my eyes. I did do many of the same things, bring home animals and sneak in cats, had a tortoise too, I think she was amazing, and God definitely needed her in Heaven, she was an a angel and know that The Lord has a special placement in his house, hope you don’t mind me sharing…lots of love and prayers from my family to yours…?

  5. My prayers are for the Camm family. My family was very close to Sabrina. She lived with us for a while as she was dealing with some family issues. We loved Sabrina like a daughter. She had a profound effect on our lives and we will miss her dearly. Sabrina was always there for us when we were dealing with challenges with our son Jonathan. We pray that Sabrina has found eternal peace and her soul is at peace as well. We grieve for her family and hope that they know Sabrina is with angels.

We will miss you Sabrina. Godspeed sweet girl.
