Obituary

Sabrina Camm, beloved daughter and sister, passed away on August 30, 2018.
Sabrina was known to be a beautiful soul, was very giving and empathetic. She loved to have fun and make jokes. She loved her family, and loved to laugh and get silly with her brothers.
From 5 years on, Sabrina wanted to be a teacher and would often set up her stuffed animals to be her students in a classroom.  She requested an overhead projector – the only thing she wanted for Christmas- to use in her ‘classroom.’ She loved children, especially those with special needs. Her elective in high school was working as a special needs student aide.
Another love was her caring and compassion for animals.  Often she would rescue an animal and bring it home.  Today there is still DoeDee aka Roxy, her first dog, Princess or Mommy, another dog, Mr. B or Bun, a bunny, Rosie, aka Rosalita, a guinea pig, and Gary, a rescue desert tortoise, living at home. Sabrina was known to sneak cats into her room at home even though her mom is allergic. One of the cats she succeeded in keeping -Marley- now lives at her father’s home.
Some of her exceptional talents included being a barista and making the best juice drinks ever.  Most recently she was aspiring to be a Drug Rehab Counselor at Hoag Hospital.
Surviving her are her mother, Sonya (Joel) Camm-Prescott, her father, Sam Camm, her brothers Patrick(Jessica) Beard and Sammy Camm.  Services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, September 8, 2018, at The Crossing Church, 2115 Newport Boulevard, Costa Mesa, CA.

  2. To the Camm family,

Your home was a second home to me as a kid. Sam and Sabrina were my other siblings. The sleepovers, the play dates, that popsicle eating on the swing, and the bouncing on the trampoline – all these memories I have taken with me as I’ve grown up. One constant in those memories is Sabrina’s smiling face. She ALWAYS had the most beautiful smile and she was always a go getter kind of girl! She wanted to be in the center of everything and make it fun! That spirit lives on in the people she surrounded herself by, and the memories she left. I’m so thankful that I got to know Sabrina and love Sabrina as we both became young women. As much as it hurt to see some a young beautiful soul leave too soon – it’s comforting to know she is in Gods arms, watching us from heaven with her big smile beaming rays of sunlight into our lives. Rest easy Sabrina and rest peacefully. As for the Camm family, Sonya and Sammy, I can’t imagine what you are going through, but she’s still here. She is always there in loving memory and we are here – always here to support. I love you and I’m praying for you & thinking of all of you. Now let’s celebrate the beautiful life Sabrina lived – because she sure did live a beautiful one.
