  2. Oh No —- what happeneddddd — I just spent the last 30 minutes composing some revelant thoughts on behalf of….. and it just disappeared while I was writing. Uck.. Did it just time out? Hate this technology.

I will just have to share this when we talk someday.

Anyway — for those that suspect there is more to us than the ground we walk on; there is no better insight into this which is presented in What Dreams May Come (Robin Williams)
Though fictional and dramitized for entertainment it touches a special place for those that think understand) outside the box of the traditional presentations crafted by the business of religion.

The last of the flagship staff of the good ship Redles (Men) has passed on, but not the charachter that guides us all. Pop Pop, Dad and now Dick.

By the way our chosen cottage by the sea is the Goldberg/Shuman House since 1997

I met Dick somewhere around 1949 or 50; probably soon after Duane did…we all thought he was SOOOOOO “good lookin”! Just Soooo cute and best of all sooo nice. He always seemed in good humor and had a great gift of gab. He was so kind and loved Duane So. I was in touch with them when I was at Penn and they lived out in Glenside or Ambler. We did some double dating with a couple of Dick’s friends and me. We saw a wonderful play….The Music Man, with D & D and his friend Bill what’s his name. Then Richie was born. I am his Godmother, but, alas, have never done much of anything since giving him the silver cup when he was born…

We always kept in touch, but did not see one another much until about ten years ago when we all sould meet in Beach Haven in September.

So, in summary, Dick was: FUN, KIND, THOUGHTFUL AND JUST SOOOOO NICE!

    Love, Patty Bloom

  5. Thanks, “Kenny”…I wish you would write those relevant thoughts one more time. And by the way, my children, like yours, will are part of the crew of the good ship Redles. I do not let them forget that. 🙂
