  2. Dear Carolyn and Family:
Our daughter, Susan Waymire, spoke so very, very highly of Pastor Dick Cobb and after meeting him I knew why. What a wonderful and caring person. When my Mother passed away, he and you Carolyn, came to her funeral not knowing me or my family. You did, however, know Susan. It was a very touching moment and I will remember it always. Since then I met you both and I feel very honored and blessed. I am glad my daughter and her family were a part of this wonderful man’s life. He meant so much to them. I knew him for a short time, and I’m glad I had the opportunity. Carolyn, my prayers and thoughts are with you, and your family during this difficult time.

    Carolyn and Family,
So sorry to hear of your loss. Dick has fought the fight and now is benefitting the rewards, of his devotion. Take comfort in the Lord during this time of sorrow and He will surely lead the way.

  4. Dear Carolyn and Family,
Our hearts go out to you at this painful time. Dick was such a big part of our carefree college years, we all died a little with him. Although we only got together a few times since we moved north 36 years ago we treasure the memory of each visit. Carolyn, I was in contact with the U of R alumni office yesterday re. another matter, but I did mention Dick’s passing to them. I hope I didn’t overstep my turf. Liz has the grandchildren’s flu. That will likely keep us from attending the services on Wednesday. We will be there in spirit. God bless.

    Love,
    Liz and Bill Plachy
