She met and married her Manual Arts High School sweetheart, Don, in January 1957. They moved to Buena Park in 1963 before finally settling in Huntington Beach in 1967. Huntington Beach became their true home to raise their family to this day. Her passion for Jesus Christ, life, friendship, family, learning and strength of character were instilled in her family every day.
Her love of family and friends and zest for life was only exceeded by her beauty, strength, grace and compassion. Her open arms and hugs were always home to many. She will be missed and always remembered.
Memorial service to be held Wednesday, March 4, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, in Newport Beach. Rachel’s final resting place will be at Cemetery of the Holy Sepulcher in Orange.
