  1. My deepest condolences to the family. I loved visiting the family in LA. I loved Pete’s sense of humor. I remember watching a video of my dad walking your dad which he filmed. You could hear him narrating the scene. The big guy holding the leash is my cousin Lou with me dog (i do not remember the name). Taking me for a ride in his red Porsche and then letting me drive the car. Giving me the keys to the old Porsche and telling me to have fun but not too much fun. Just a great person to talk to. I decided that when I had a son his name had to be Peter. I like to think he got some of Pete’s great qualities. He will be missed.

Oh Pete. I already miss you so. You were one of greatest, sweetest, kindest wonderful men I ever met. I always think of you on my travels excited to share with you my adventures. I hate having to even write this, but I find comfort in knowing you went peacefully and you were SO happy being at Sarah’s with the grandkids surrounded by your beautiful family. Godspeed Pete. Much love

  3. Pete Hoo I Love You
    A quiet strength
    A warm embrace
    A friendly face
    A peaceful space
From the smell of tobacco to jazz tunes on the piano
Rides to school with a cup of coffee in hand
Spaghetti dinners and a listening ear
Your presence will be forever missed
So grateful to have known you!

  4. Enjoy your final journey, dear cousin Pete. I’m sure you’ll be reminiscing with those who have passed. It was a real pleasure spending time with you the few times we did, since we lived so far from each other. So glad we got to speak on the phone a few months ago!

  5. Pete gave me my first job out of college, back in 1969. He was the most gracious and kindest of men, and a wonderful mentor. After these many years I made an attempt to reconnect on LinkedIn, but received no reply. I was just a week too late. I loved reading the obituary; it confirmed my sense that Pete lived a full life with a loving family and the grandchildren I hoped he would have. No one could have been a better father and grandfather.

My sincere condolences and regards to the family. Pete was the best!
