Obituary
Matthew Robert Hubbard, 14, was born October 8, 1991 in California and passed away October 12, 2005 at his home in Aliso Viejo, California. Matt was a 9th grade student at Aliso Niguel High School. He is survived by his devoted father, Bill Hubbard and his step-mom, Lisa; mother, Julie Nelson and his step-father, John Nelson; loving brothers, Andrew Hubbard, Ryan Hubbard and Derrick Nelson; beloved grandfather, Robert Albert; beloved grandparents, Jim & Carol Hubbard and Carol Nelson. He was dearly loved by all and will be terribly missed by his family and many friends.

Bill – Our son, Ryan, shares his brother Matt’s beautiful smile. I often see “the Matt grin” in him. Matt was such a special person and touched my family’s heart with his gentle demeanor including his step-sisters, Brianna, Krystin and Stephanie. He will surely be missed by all who knew him.

We are so very sorry for your loss. My family moved to AV in August and Matt was one of the first persons my son Dane met. Matt’s kindness and friendship really made it easier for Dane to enter a new high school. Matt was very special and made a huge impact in a very short time. He will be missed very much.

Matt was a really great guy. He so friendly and was always really nice to me. I will really miss him and things will never be the same without him. I am truly thankful to have had the chance to call Matt a friend.
