  1. May God bless all of you and give you strength together as you suffer through the loss of your beautiful family member and our friend. She definitely was an inspirational person for all of us.

  2. My thoughts and prayers are with ALL of you at this difficult time. I am grateful to have had MD as my friend Tambourine Lady! MD spoke at our City of Hope Fashion Show, May 16, 2006, at the Disneyland Hotel. In front of an audience of 700; she shared her darkest times and her battle with Breast Cancer. After her 10 minute speech, people whom she had never met, left feeling they knew her and would hold her in their hearts forever. I looked up strenght in the dictionary and SAW HER PICTURE. MD is my hero! Heaven just got a beautiful angel! Sleep peacefully my friend! Love, Cheryl Abbadessa Kennick.

My deepest condolences to the Cox and Allen family. I have reconnected with my friend, and MD’s sister, Stephanie these past couple years. Although I haven’t seen MD since childhood I will always remember the Allen sisters, MD being the leader, and the one the others all looked up to. She always had a smile and a warm hello to her sister’s friend. My prayers are with your families now and always.

  4. Our hearts go out to all of you, MD’s loving family. Jennifer, our dear daughter-in-law, your “sunsets” are beautiful – what a lovely way to remember your dear Auntie-M. She has touched so many lives, and will continue to do so endlessly. Our love to you.

  5. Dear Betty Jo,
May the thoughts and prayers of your friends bring you and your family some measure of comfort during this difficult time.
