  1. Marjorie’s spirit has always been the most amazing and uplifting experience. She shared her zest for living every day. She came to take tap from me many years ago at SDC and continued, an integral part of whatever group she was in. She loved everyone, and was loved by everyone. An infectious spirit of adventure and keen sense of humor, she was a force far bigger than her physical stature. It is this spirit that is her gift to those who knew her that lives on. Her gift cannot be taken away. It is that part of her that stays with us all. With love from Cee Cee Wakefield

Marjorie was so dedicated to the world of dance and loved watching her granddaughter Melissa in class and on stage. A very special “lady” indeed. I have missed seeing her around the studio these past months. Dance on Marjorie because you know better than anyone that “Once a Dancer, Always a Dancer”.

  3. Marjarie Landis Nemec was a beautiful and kind woman who loved her family. She was a wonderful grandmother who encouraged her granddaughter, Melissa, in dance (her own love and expertise) and in any of her other activities both academic and otherwise (Girl Scouts, dance, arts, family activities, etc.)
Marjarie attended everything she could for her granddaughter. She was a good mother who was proud of her son and she had a good relationship with her daughter-in-law.
Her smile was welcoming and friendly to all.
She will be missed. May she smile fondly upon all of us from heaven.
Her family will deeply miss her kind and loving presence.
