  1. Marjorie was an amazing lady! She lived life by example and was a joy to be around! I met her through dance. I will forever be thinking of her tapping away in heaven, or wearing Her Hip Hop Vlado shoes to show others how to bust a move! Love you Marjorie. I am blessed to have met you and danced on stage with you. Rest in Peace my friend!

  2. We only saw Margie once a year when we visited in CA. Unfortunately, we never got a chance to see her dance. But one night we did get to watch her granddaughter, Melissa, perform in her living room, dancing with a special joy and energy that we knew would be a shining star in her life. It was obvious that Grandma was her inspiration. Wouldn’t we all be so lucky as to leave such a legacy for a grandchild? Kudos, Margie! Dance on!

  3. “Marjorie, or Grandma Nemec, as my girls called her was very dear to our family. We were always so comfortable knowing when we left the girls at the dance studio even when they were just 5yrs old that their, “Dancing Grandma” would be watching them. Rest in peace my dear. Dance forever in heaven, and we know you will be a dancing angel forever watching over you dancing granddaughter Melissa as well as all your adopted grand-dancers!,

  4. So very sorry to hear this news. Margie was a lovely, energetic lady and a lovely neighbor for years. And she adored her family and her teddy bears! God bless you all!

  5. Margie and I were cousins, but we considered ourselves more like sisters. For a very long time we emailed each other daily, as we did not live near each other. We’d sign our emails..”lylas” which stood for “love you like a sister”. “Lylas” Margie. We miss you!
