We’re grateful for him in our lives,. Not a moment did he waste

Short in Years…Long in Life…John left us more than most
And so today we celebrate…And to his Life we Toast

Not many words did he say,. But those he chose could make your day
Sometimes his wisdom offered up,. Most often humor was his touch

Margie, His Wife, His Partner, His best friend
    Lived simply together…A wonderful Blend

The A.M. ritual of coffee … Shared with words often unsaid,
Comments from the stories,Thoughts from What they read.

There were work and world discussions, But always Number One
How are our children doing?,.Are they having fun?

Brett and Blythe and Kendra,Sourced Joy beyond compare
Added to the Pleasure Package,Candace, Noelle, and ” Bear”

A Family day of football,Was competitive and fun
In The banter and the chatter, Did not matter which team won

John’s humor made us smile ,.In tough and easy times
His wit was quick and edgy, Often just one line

His friendship was a mainstay…For many that he knew
It nourished heart and mind and soul,. For us he was the glue

His health an ongoing challenge…. He never did complain
He sought his God for answers,For words to help explain

John Haney had a purpose …Leave this world a Better place
He truly made a difference…Not a moment did he waste

He treated life with Reverence…. Modeled life for us to see
Stood strong in truth and honesty,. How we all could be

  3. We will greatly miss hearing Uncle John sing hymns in worship behind us on Sunday mornings. We can’t wait to see him again. We loved him very much and it was an honor to call him “Uncle”. With love and broken hearts, James, Kristi, Matthew, Hannah, and Emily xxoo
