I was so sad to hear of John’s death after his long, courageous battle with cancer. I remember him as a fun-loving, Godly man who was a friend to our family. He will be missed very much by all who knew him. May God comfort Margie and his family during these difficult days.
Love in Christ, Martha MartyJohnsen

He was by best friend growing up together on Del Valle. We lost contact with each other in the 80’s but I always had him in my heart. In his family’s backyard shed we had a small knife and made a small incision in each other’s fingers to become blood brothers to ceremonially cement our close bond. Johnny, I love you and will always cherish our golden years of childhood.
