My brother in law of almost 54 years has now joined my beloved sister, Sherry Joy. He was a great man and I will miss him alot…he was an avid Nebraska & Denver Broncos football fan…we watched alot of sports together over the years and he loved teasing me about my Raiders. So many memories of birthdays & holidays spent together….I am so glad you married my sister… God Bless you, “HILL”……I Love you

  2. Mike, Chris, Suzanne and Family. May God give you peace and comfort in this time of sorrow. Oh how we will miss Uncle Daryl! All I can think is that there must be a wonderful reunion going on in Heaven right now with Aunt Sherry, Uncle Bob, Aunt Phyl, Mom, Dad, Nancy, Grandma, Grandpa and all those “Believers” who have been waiting with Jesus for Daryl to arrive. I was just a little but impressionable 10 year old when Uncle Daryl and Aunt Sherry got married. I remember their wedding and celebration like it was yesterday. They were beautiful and fun people then and they just kept it up. We looked up to them. How lucky we are to have been a part of their lives. We always felt like we were so important to them. We will miss Uncle Daryl. I will especially miss his laugh and humor. Love to all of you, Cousins Sharon and Dave

  3. It was so nice that Betty and I along with my wife, Chris, had a nice visit with Daryl. We met him at the sports bar and had dinner and a good conversation about Nebraska football.
    Sorry for your loss.

Daryl was like a father to me. 10 years ago when I asked him for his daughters hand in marriage, he gave me his blessing. Over the course of the next 10 years we were Elks brothers, sports fans together, and best friends. In calling him Dad it was because he was as much a father to me as my own dad had been.He was always there for me with advice and help when I needed it so it was a privilege and honor for Dad to want to live with Suzanne and I for the last 4 months of his life. We spent many an hour together watching old westerns on the Western channel, Matlock & Perry Mason. One of his favorite sayings was if I was ever in trouble and needed a lawyer it would be Matlock & Perry Mason. Suzanne and I have our eternal home next to Mom & Dad at El Toro Cemetary which made him very happy. I will always remember the great times we spent together and be thankful for you being in my life. May God bless you. I love you and will miss you so much.
