  1. Tom, Faye, Craig, & Colin,
There is nothing so heart breaking than the loss of a child or a sibling. My heart goes out to you with deep felt sympathy. My prayer is that you will take comfort in each other as you talk about all the wonderful memories and times that you have shared with Corey and that eventually you will find peace in that he is in a better place. Tom, Faye, Craig and Colin,

I am so sorry. I can not begin to convey my sense of loss and love for all of you in this time of sadness. My heart is 100% with you though my body can not be there. I hope to see you all this weekend.

As the eldest cousin, it was my duty to be the ring leader in creating the chaos and fun when all the cousins got together, which was frequent. I remember everything from conning Corey out of his garlic bread at the big spaghetti feeds, to carrying him back to the house when he crashed on his bike down the street. The smiles and fun were plentiful and Corey, even though he was the youngest, kept up with us. Great times.

Recently, I was lucky enough to engage in deep conversation with Cory about one of our favorite subjects, social behavior. I very much enjoyed this interaction with him, as we had a lot of common philosophy and he always challenged my intelligence. Our final plan was to buy 1000 acres in some remote area, bring our loves ones and live free. Our first order of business would be to shoot our guns off the front porch at 3am, in our underwear, just because we could. I smile every time I think about that.

I love you Corey. I’m miss you very much. No worries little cousin, someday I’ll join you and we can don our underwear, shoot our guns and live free. I look forward to that and while I’m here, I will never forget you.

Our deepest and most sincere sympathies for my Aunt, Uncle and Cousins. We love you all.

    Big Cousin Jeff and family.
