I’m so sorry to hear about Cathy
I met Cathy a few years ago and we hit it off right away. She was a wonderful person.
My condolences to her family and friends.

Gary & Jeff,
There are no words to describe your wife and mother. She loved you both so much.
Cathie was more of a sister to me than a close cousin. I remember so many times when we were younger in Ala. and times through high school, I remember times in our adult life. They have alwasy been good ones, memories that you want to keep and they are memories that I will always keep.
Tom and I will miss her. We always enjoyed exchanging SciFi books, and mysteries. She did love to read. Cathie’s cooking you couldn’t beat. We had many a great meal at the house.
Cathie blessed our lives more than you will ever know. She will be deeply missed.
Cathies Uncle Lloyd is sending his prayers to both of you. He thought of Cathie like another daughter and loved her like one too.
Love,
Margaret & Tom

Gary and Cathie,
To this day, I have used your example of love for each other as a standard of what marriage is all about: unconditional love. I must have said your names 50 times over the last few years as I’ve spoken to many couples experiencing challenges in their relationships. From the moment I met you both at Tone Software, I felt your embrace. Cathie was, to me, the mother I never had growing up losing her at the age of 6 to cancer. Cathie and I had many intimate conversations about life, family, friends, relationships, work, goals, passions, and dreams. She always gave me the mother point-of-view, even if I didn’t like it. I learned a lot from her. In a way, I always felt like my mother was speaking through her. One message from her that helps me on a daily basis is: Live life everyday, because you never know when it’s going to end!
My heart is heavy for you Gary. You’ve always been a man of great integrity in my eyes. Never once did I bring a question, complaint or chit-chat to you that you didn’t listen. You always took the time to respond and always in your usual jovial way. I appreciate what you have taught me, even though you might not know what it is. An invaluable lesson I learned from you is: Take time for people and bring a good attitude!
God is with you Gary. And Cathie? She’s hangin’ with my Mom in a heavenly place.
Peace be with you!

Gary,
I am blessed to have known Cathie. She was always SO kind. She would even stay around to finish listening to my dry and slow-to-develop stories while others walked away…
My heart, and prayers are with you and the family.
