I will remember the very close relationship we had and the man you were before Alzheimer’s started taking its toll on you. I am so happy you are free from all the confusion & pain. God bless you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.
My favorite memory of Uncle Burl is when he used to pause his MG at the bottom of the drive and let us stand on the running boards while he drove the car up the drive!

My dad could do anything, fix anything, and was never sick. He’d just brush himself off and get on with it. Very strong man. Used to sit with me all night long during my asthma attacks, cause I thought if he left I would die. So he stayed—all night. Then he would leave when I fell asleep, put on his suit and drive to work. Strong, devoted man. Gave me some words of wisdom as a kid that have gotten me through some pretty bad times all through my life. When you rate a father, you look at all the good stuff about him, forget what wasn’t so good, and make sure the sum comes out in the positive. It does for me. Love ya Pops, Sharon

I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. He was a great husband to my Aunt Dot. I remember him as being such a kind man. We will all miss him. With heartfelt sympathy Debbie Isley
