I remember Burl as jolly and full of laughter. Though I’ve not heard it for many years, I can still hear his chuckles in my mind. Since brothers Burl and Hugo were not close, it seems our families did not see much of each other after Sheila was about 3yrs old. I missed out on knowing Burl better and being more connected with my cousins. It is times like these, however, that bring back a flood of memories of happy times at grandma’s house. As we all journey on without our parents, I wish the Lord’s blessing for each of us, and especially Sharon, Gary, and Sheila, in the coming years. Our bond of love is through Him ! ! ! Love, Jan

Our thoughts and prayers are with Sheila, Gary and Sharon. I think of Burl everyday because of the beautiful picture he painted of me.

I remember when Uncle Burl took me for rides in his cool car – the mg! And him calling me “little Michelly”.
We send our support and love to you all, Sharon, Gary, and Sheila.
Love and Blessings!

I loved having Burl in my family…he generously gave his love and support to my family for more than 20 years. He comforted my mom during the most difficult time in her life. He was always kind and friendly, often witty and funny; he rarely complained and seemed at peace with his life. I remember so many good times…the Winnie travel years were a highlight. I love you Burl, rest in peace…D

Laughter
“The sadness is eased by the memory of that laugh”
That spontaneous laughter will live on in all those you touched.
‘Jake’ it is great to have known you from Art Center and the sixty two years since.
