  1. Lydia says:

Tio you will be missed so much by not only me but but by all of us.
My fondest memory is when I was a kid and you would pull my trensas and call me Prietita de carino.
You where the only uncle I ever knew. I feel like I just lost a great big huge part of my history my roots and most of all my heart tio.

My only consolation is that now you are with Estella and I know now you must be giving her a hard time, and making her laugh like you did us.

    I miss you so much!!!!

  2. My deepest sympathy goes out to all the family at this time of this great loss. My Tio as we all called him was a great man. I have many memories of him always with a big smile, his wonderful cooking and him enjoying his company with lovely ladies and his famous saying to me”ven aqui para jalarte las orejas.” I don’t know why he loved to pull my ears that was only when i was joking around with him all in love. I’m going to miss you and your sense of humor and that one of a kind laugh. My prayers go out to the family love you too.

  3. Tony,

You were one of our brightest stars! I loved sitting and talking with you. You were always such a great person to share things with and have a laugh and share your stories. You are so loved and missed by your Barona family. We are all missing you so much! Your laughter, sense of humor and kindness will live on with us forever!

  4. To my Friend Tony’s Family,

I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest sympathies and condolences to all of you for your lost; I am sure I speak for many of Tony’s friends down here in San Diego, he will be missed deeply, he was a great friend, his sense of humor would bright up anyone’s day!

    2 Corinthians 1:3-5
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 3who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

    To My Friend Tony,

Thank you for your friendship, your advice and great stories; it was an honor to have gotten the chance to know you, work with you and especially to be your friend.

    Your Friend,
    Cesar Castellanos

  5. I will always keep a good memory of you in my heart my dear friend.
I will never forget the fun we had working together when you use to tell me that you will send me back to France in concorde, and I will look at you and say “pinche Tony”.
I will also never forget how hard of a worker you were and dedicated to what ever you were doing.
    Rest in Peace my friend
