Christmas in Heaven

I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below
With tiny lights, like Heaven’s stars reflecting on the snow.
The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away that tear,
For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,
But the sounds of music can’t compare
With the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description, to hear the angels sing.

I know how much you miss me; I see the pain inside your heart,
But I am not so far away, we really aren’t apart.
So be happy for me, dear ones, you know I hold you dear,
And be glad I’m spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I send you each a special gift, from my heavenly home above,
I send you each a memory of my undying love.
After all, love is a gift more precious than pure gold.
It was always most important in the stories Jesus told.

Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do,
For I can’t count the blessings or the love He has for each of you.
So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear.
Remember, I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

  1. Mom,

You have a special place in our hearts, for your love is always with us. All our love always.
    Valerie & Mark

  2. Although we met late in life, I knew that you were a very special lady and you will be sorely missed.

  3. I will never forget your laughter and the wonderful times we shared.
    Your friendship was a blessing.

  4. To my BEST FRIEND, Val, and her family – Ken and I grieve with you for your loss. I’ve known Vi for 30 years, now, first as the mother to my BEST FRIEND in 1968 and then as a wonderfully sweet person with whom I’ve had many conversations. I’ve had many opportunities to share a meal with this wonderful family and watched as each one of her children grew, married, and had children. My father had Vi’s husband as his math teacher one year. Your family is an extention of mine and we wish a full healing and adjustment for all of you.

    Love, Rosina and Ken Headley

  5. Mom,
Even though you were not my Mom by birth, you have always been above and beyond a wonderful mother-in-law to me. You have such a wonderful spirit and a selfless warm heart. I know you will be peaceful now and will also finally get to be with Catherine. I love you very much and will miss you.
    Lovingly,
    Wendy
