Obituary
Victoria Terrazzino peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones on the evening of February 28, 2023.
Victoria was born October 25,1934 to Giuseppe and Carmela Pistone in Brooklyn, New York. Victoria was a twin and one of 7 siblings who all sacrificed a formal education to financially support the family and ensure the youngest child, Victoria, could graduate high school. Victoria worked as a secretary in New York City in her mid-twenties and met her husband, Emanuele Terrazzino. They made the bold decision to move to Venezuela where her two children Joseph and Carmela were born. Victoria accomplished what she wanted most in life which was to love, be loved and to have a family of her own. Everything she did was for the love of the family . Victoria was a Godmother to over 2 dozen children, Antonetta Cipolla was her most devoted, loyal and treasured Goddaughter. Victoria returned back to New York with her children after 15 years in Venezuela. All her time was spent raising her children and being with her siblings, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Victoria then moved to Sicily to be with her husband’s family and there she sowed everlasting bonds with her In-Laws. In the early 1990’s Victoria and her daughter, Carmela, then moved to Southern California to be close to her son, a local Physician. Here she made new lifelong friends which also became family.
Victoria excelled at propping up her family and friends and supporting them through their many passions and life’s tribulations. She often shared her blessings with others, even when times were tough. She was unselfish to a fault; she often neglected her own needs to focus on the needs and well-being of others. Her sharp tongue, one-liners and witty personality kept everyone on their toes. Her Heart overflowed when her Grandson Sloane was born. He kept her young at heart. Victoria continued to be blessed to witness the marriage of her children. Victoria embraced her children’s new family as her own. In her last years, her home was always filled with family, friends, laughs, scrumptious food and the nightly White Russian, her favorite cocktail. She was One-of-a-Kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed.
She is survived by her Son Joseph, Daughter Carmela, Grandson Sloane, Granddaughter Lindsey, Great Grandson Max, Goddaughter Antonetta, all her nieces and nephews located in California, the East Coast and Sicily, her Son-in-law Khash, Daughter-in-Law Tamara and all her extended family.
Though she may be out of sight, she will never be out of our heart and mind. God bless you Mom.

Mama Victoria, I always saw you as an Angel without wings. If it was raining and dark outside, you’d brightened up the day with your personality! You will be definitely missed, but will never be forgotten. Love you!
