  1. To the Mimm Family and All Those Who Knew Tyler,
I just heard the sad news about Tyler yesterday. I had been a patient of his back in 2002 and then again in 2004. I never realized that this handsome man was my age. I thought he was much younger because he looked like it and acted like it. He was full of life!
After spending much time reading the entries on this site I came to a very important realization: everyone of us is going to die, sad but true, however what is most important is how we live. Our daily lives are so very different, and Tyler, through all the words that have been written about him by all of you, showed that he lived a life so well lived. Tyler is a testament to what successful living is all about and I hope that we all learn from his thoughts and actions how to take a hold of that and do the same in kind. I hope that when I depart from this planet that as many people, from all walks of my ife, have as many good things to say about me as what has been said about Tyler. What a compliment and tribute to Tyler. His life left our world in a better place. May we learn from Tyler and aspire to be the persons we’re meant to be. Thank you Tyler for being. And may God continue to bless his family and friends with the beauty and goodness Tyler, apparently, sought out, throughout his lifetime.

    With Respect,
    Diana McClung

    Dear Shannon,

You & Tyler were the most enjoyable friends one could ask for. Tyler was like a lil brother to me who made me do things that me made me a better person. He always made me laugh, like when I was taking movies @ Indian Wells & he shaved only !/2 of his mustache off..I didn\’t even notice..I haven\’t seen any of you since 1984, but always had fond memories of You & Tyler. He was a fine person..My Wife & I live in Emerald Bay, Laguna. God Bless

  3. I was on my way to the L.D.S. Temple on Santa Monica Blvd. when I heard Tyler’s death announced on the radio as one of his fans dedicated a song to him. I was a classmate of his at Westchester High School….oh, so many years ago. He was exceptionally memorable, harnessing the respect of both men and women. I had often wondered how his life had turned out. Apparently, he was true to his convictions, lived his dreams, and left his mark upon the world around him.
