    Travis,
    I think back over the last many years and remember all the times you and I talked, at length, of life. We spent many hours talking of “The Warrior’s Way” and how best to live in that way. In listening to you talk as you grew older, and again now, in listening to your friends speak of you, I am filled with pride and joy that YOU GOT IT!!!! Your heart is wise and true; Your spirit strong and unwavering; Your respectful nature something awe inspiring; Your resolve to leave this world a little better with your passing, absolutely fulfilled. You listened, practiced, and perfected the Warrior’s Way. While not your “father” in the biological sense, I now know the absolute pride, joy and unconditional love that a father can have for a son. Your spirit will remain in all of us forever. I am so proud of the man that you have become. I am proud and humbled to have had an influence on your life, and likewise, to have you influence mine. I love you, Trav. I will miss you.

  2. Altho we had never met, the words spoken of you are fond,happy,goofy at times and warm. You touched so many people in the short time you were here in so many different ways and will be remembered to everyone differently. I wish I had met you,but I have met your Mother and I know what a wonderful person you are.Your Mother,Jeanne, is a remarkable woman and I know you will guide her and your family through the saddness and show them in little ways that you are now at peace and are awaiting their arrival when it is their time. May God be with you and yours.

  3. Gone From My Sight

    I am standing upon the seashore.
    A ship at my side spreads her white
    sails to the morning breeze and starts
    for the blue ocean.

    She is an object of beauty and strength.
    I stand and watch her until at length
    she hangs like a speck of white cloud
    just where the sea and sky come
    to mingle with each other.

    Then, someone at my side says;
    “There, she is gone!”

    “Gone where?”
    Gone from my sight. That is all.
    She is just as large in mast and hull
    and spar as she was when she left my side
    and she is just as able to bear her
    load of living freight to her destined port.
    Her diminished size is in me, not in her.

    And just at the moment when someone
    at my side says, “There, she is gone!”
    There are other eyes watching her coming,
    and other voices ready to take up the glad
    shout;
    “Here she comes!”
    And that is dying.

  4. Dearest Travis,
    To hear of your death was like a knife through the heart. My thoughts became selfish as I grieved your loss, flashes of you as a little boy still send chills up my spine. Through the years that seperated us you grew to be this amazingly handsome, worldly, intelligent, spiritual, loving, kind, hero. To have known you is to be blessed. You leave behind a world of ugliness and uncertainty to be joined with your Heavenly Father. I pray for the pain that your family is having to leave their hearts and I pray to take with me some of what I learned about you and instill it in my children. You are a blessed spirit amongst us all and for that we will be eternally grateful. Peace and love to you Travis.

    Love Always, Amber Durante Watson

You taught me so much in life and through meeting your amazing friends are still teaching me! you touched the lives of so many Travis…each one a tribute to the way you lived life! I named my first son after you and I can only hope he turns out like his UNCLE TRAVIS! I love you so much and I miss you terribly, but knowing you are my guardian angel helps in the healing. I now have your “TRUE BELIEVERS” to help me through – THANK YOU DEAR BROTHER FOR LEAVING THEM WITH YOUR STORIES TO SHARE WITH ME and EVERYONE YOUR LEGACY!!
