Tomi truly was an amazing person. She was funny and witty. She made everyone happy. On the golf couse she made fun of herself if she made a bad shot. She was just a pleasure to be around.

She talked me into following her as President of our Ladies Club. When I finally said ok she presented me with a necklace that said “oh shit”. She and her partner in crime – Judy Soulakis – did “incredible” tournaments.

    She will be missed.

One of our favorite memories of Tomi is when she was bouncing Quincy on her knee at a Christmas party and then he threw up on her & she went to clean herself up, came back out the party and had fun. Tomi was a very strong, passionate women who loved her family very much. We will all miss her very much.

One of my favorite memories of Tomi is her hearty laugh. She really helped me when I took over the tournament chair job at San Juan Hills. She knew how much work it was going to be, patted me on the shoulder and handed me the big boxes with that hearty laugh. I did the same when I turned the job over to the next tournament chair.
Thank you, Tomi, for all you did for SJHWGA.

    Dear David,

What a lovely service and life celebration your family provided for Tomi. It was a wonderful opportunity for her family and friends to gather in her memory. I appreciated the chance to get to know your daughters and their families. Thank you.

I’ve included for you some of the e-mails I received from our SJHWGA memories. I meant to leave it with you on Friday. Tomi was such a vital part of our organization. We are all indebted to her and her influence and impact will remain in our hearts.
I hope that your memories of your life together will comfort you in these next days.
    Fondly,
    Mary Dean
