  3. From the moment I met Sherise as a Freshan at Whitworth College, there was something so special about her that I was compelled to get to know her better. And these past 16 years of knowing her, she continually challenged me to be a better person. I was honored to be a part of her wedding, and was honored that not only she was a bridesmaid at mine, but I wore her dress. We share a special friendship that even death cannot separate. I miss her dearly and grieve for her loss for her children, family, friends and students.
Godspeed Sherise, I’ll never forget that honeydew melon candle.
    In loving memory,
    Holly
