Sean ?BEAR? Christopher Barrientes

Sean ‘BEAR’ Christopher Barrientes, 23, of Laguna Niguel passed away on April 28th 2011. Sean was a 2006 graduate of Mission Viejo High School where he ran track and cross country, and played basketball. The 23-year-old Barrientes recently planned to join the Navy to serve his country.

His many friends were devastated to lose Sean, describing him as loyal, selfless, funny, always willing to listen to others, and close to his family. The memorial service will be held at St. Timothy’s in Laguna Niguel at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 4.

He is survived by his father Rene Barrientes and mother Monica Barrientes, his grandmother Irma Barrientes and grandfather Alfredo Barrientes Sr., his aunts Marsha Garcia Dill, Marjorie Garcia Dallman, and Sylvia Barrientes, uncles Alfredo Barrientes, Johnny Barrientes and cousins Cameron and Sammy Dill, Isreal Barrientes and Jamie Barrientes. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Alfred Franco Garcia and his grandmother Rebecca Santana Garcia. Bear had a very big heart. His great big Bear hug and smile will be remembered every day. He was a joy to be around and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. We love you, Bear, and you will always be in our hearts.
