I am very sad to hear that my dear cousin Russ passed away and that he had been in so much pain. He brought so much joy to the people that loved him and he will never be forgotten. To: Chuck Holdeman, I am really sorry that you lost the love of your life. Just remember how much love and happiness that you brought into each others lives, and all that you shared. No one can ever take that away from you. Hopefully that will help you at this very difficult time. To: Ray & Carol Kowalka, Jim & Mary Kowalka, Rusty & Velma Lawther, and Bob & Cheryl Lawther – I am so sorry that you lost your loving brother, uncle and friend. Take comfort in knowing that he is at peace now and never forget that beautiful smile of his. Love to all of you always.

Russ, in the short time I knew you, as a neighbor and a friend, I knew you were someone special. You always greeted me with open arms and a kiss for love. My heart breaks that your not physically here. It is wrong that you became deathly ill at such a young age. It is wrong that you were taken when you were. I know you fought a long hard battle. I am inspired by your courage, and will deeply miss my dear, and ever faithful friend!

Chuck, I am very sorry for your loss. Many years ago I knew Russ and Roy, who helped me in a time when I could not help myself. I will never forget his loud laughter which always made me smile. I am very sad he is gone, but I believe we will all meet up together in the future in heaven.May he rest in peace. Chuck, please try to be good to yourself during this trying time.
