Obituary

Rosanne Stone passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and close friends at the Majestic Care Villa in Mission Viejo, CA on Saturday, April 1^st, 2023 at 78 years of age. When her grandson Evan was asked what he thinks is the first thing she did when she got to heaven, he replied, “She asked for her angel wings so she can watch over us”.

Rosanne leaves behind her children Aaron (Elizabeth) Stone, Philip (Amy) Thai, Quan (Mike) Smith, Sammy (Lisa) Wu, her sisters Phyllis Muellenberg and Pat (Walter) Widmer, and eight grandchildren. Rosanne was preceded in death by her parents George and Loretta Muellenberg, brother Merle Muellenberg and sister Vonne’ (Ken) Benning and ex-spouse Darryl Stone.

Rosanne is remembered as being a very kindhearted person who dedicated her life to taking care of others, first and foremost, as a caring and supportive mother, aunt, sister, and friend, and also in her long career as a nurse.

Rosanne grew up in South Dakota, moved to Seattle, WA, and raised a family in Orange County, CA.  She loved dancing, hosting holidays and special events at her home, her bunco nights with friends, and fun nights in with her sisters, nieces, friends, and mother.

Rosanne battled Parkinson’s to the very end and her loved ones take comfort in the thought that she is free from her struggle with the disease and is now dancing in heaven, watching over us – because she has her angel wings.
