Obituary

Robert knew God and was a child of God. God lived in him and he lived in God. Robert had the Spirit of truth and was not afraid to share it. He knew how much God loved him and he put his trust in God’s love. We believe Robert has eternal life in Heaven through Jesus Christ. 1 John 4:7-21.

Robert lived his life in an extraordinary way. He spread joy and happiness. He was lighthearted and would often say: “don’t worry, God will provide”, and God did. He would lift our worries from us and, as a Believer in Jesus Christ, he was a living example of the scripture: “Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (Matthew 11:29)

Robert loved his family very much. He was devoted to his family and wanted us to be happy. He always made us laugh and enjoyed knowing his children were blessed with this gift too. Our house was always filled with laughter.

Robert was a hard-working man and committed to providing for his family his whole life. He also took time to relax and have fun and created many wonderful memories.

He was a lifelong Dodger fan even after he became a resident of Orange County and passed his love of baseball and the Dodgers onto our family. He was honored to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame and Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, where it all began.

He was a lifelong Disney fan too and loved the happiness Disneyland brought to his family. Robert took a liking to Grumpy, probably so he could cheer up Grumpy. A year did not pass without a visit to Disneyland or Disney World.

It was not until his late fifties when Robert got back on a motorcycle again. He purchased a Honda VTX 1800. The salesman told him it was too powerful a bike, but he disagreed. Robert road like a Bat out of Hell and he loved it. He customized his bike with bad ass accessories. His son purchased the same make and model bike and, when Robert was 64, they rode to Tombstone together.

Robert passed on his love of surfing and the beach to his family. He had an original Dewey Weber longboard that he could never part with. Despite being asked to sell it, he did not because he just had too many memories tied up in it and would rather keep it in the family.

My husband, Robert was a gift from God to me and the love of my life. He was my joy and my everything on Earth. Our love for each other is endless. We would playfully ask each other: do you know how much I love you? The answer was always something with a measurement of infinite proportions, like more than all the stars in the sky. We had agape love for one another, which is the highest and purest form of unconditional love. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God.

We love you so much and will remember how you lived. We will go on being a family.

  3. Lovie, thank you for your sweet visit. To feel you move in bed next to me and have you come around and us touch each other means so much to me. As I said: I am not afraid.

  4. Hi Lovie, yesterday, August 19th, was a tough day … 10 months. Its very different now. Life with you was the best. Together we were one. You protected me and made me feel safe wherever I was. I knew you were only a call away and wouldn’t hesitate to come if I needed you. You were respected in business dealings. You were calm and rational. You had an aura around you.

Your favorite color was blue and most of your clothes were blue.

Blue ~ Connected to Arch Angel Michael and Angel Juvenus, this colour is about protection and justice, those who have this colour will often be judged a lot, cast aside, yet most true light workers will have blue on a regular basis, due to the fact their pure energy attracts badness and hurt. As they are known to absorb this with the assistance of those two angels. For michael he brings a sense of empowerment to us, this shows us to not give up on others, blue is a sign of protecting somone close by. With juvenus the blue is often lighter shade, showing we require justice, for somthing that we have been wronged on or with. blue is a symbol of a warrior fighting to protect and do whats right even at times it may feel wrong or frightening. Ones of true heart show a deep value of blue. In dreams blue is a symbol of fighting, its often life is too much and you feel your fighting to survive, this indicates you need to change lifestyle, perhaps be tougher, showing tough love instead of always being there, teach those who ask to be there for themselves.
