Obituary

Richard Carl Darling
April 24, 1934 to August 14, 2012

Richard was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Ethel and William Darling, and was brother to Jean Moran, William Darling, Donald Darling and Marjorie Peterson. He was a resident of Montebello, California since 1965 until his death.

He worked for many years as a Real Estate Broker before becoming the owner of Tony’s Hofbrau in Hacienda Heights California.

He is survived by his spouse Cecilia Medina Darling; his children Phillip, Marcus, Diane and Dana Darling; and his grandchildren Logan, Megan, Andrew, Danielle and Quinn Darling. He was loved and cared for by his extended family, Margaret Darling, Jennifer Darling, Carren Chaney and Marc Thompson.

His greatest pleasures in life included playing golf, doing crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles and having his children and grandchildren around him.

Services were held in Laguna Hills, California on Saturday, August 18th at O’Connor Mortuary. His family will miss him greatly, but are blessed with many loving and happy memories of his time with us.
