    Dear Jerry, Victor and Steven,

We, Prosie’s Class ’76 batchmates will always cherish the good times we shared with her during the time in our lives when we were all trying to pursue our dreams.

The intelligent woman that she was, there was no doubt in our minds that she would be successful in our chosen career.

We will definitely miss her kindness, her contagious smile and her leadership, for always, we looked up to her as a colleague and a friend.

We can’t imagine the great loss your family is feeling right now, since we know – if she had been a wonderful friend to all of us then, we are sure she had been an extra wonderful wife and mother.

Keeping in mind, however, that our great loss here on earth is God’s ultimate gain in heaven!

    Our heartfelt sympathy,

To Jerry, Victor, Steven, Nanay & the Rey Family:

I remember a saying that goes something like this ” You cannot chose your family but friends you can “. And since you have that option of chosing, the friends you keep are the people you really want to be part of your life.

Along this line, I consider myself blessed to be Prosie’s friend. The thirty three some years that we’re friends has been full of memories. College days were more memorable to me than high school. It wasn’t as overwhelming as I thought it would be. And all these because of my friends like Prosie. She has made my college life as enjoyable inspite of all the hardship we all have to undertake. Lucky are all the people that has in one way or another have crossed her path.

So long my dear friend. Thank you for the memories. Though I won’t be seeing you, your spirit will be me forever. I hope your family will find peace and will treasure the memory and legacy you left behind. You’re one of a kind!

GOODBYE MY DEAR FRIEND. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE!

And oh, please say Hi to our good buddy Gerry. I could relax because I know you are in good company.

    Always,

    Miel
