Uncle Phil was one of a kind. I have such wonderful memories of his humor, his love, his stories and everyone was his friend. I remember when the children were young and Uncle Phil would dress up as Santa and make the rounds to the family. One time my oldest son, Perry, says “you sound like Uncle Phil Santa” and that always makes me smile. He always had a story to tell and you didn’t care how many times he told it, it was always told with so much love and humor. He was a very special man and will be missed. He’s now with his family in heaven and I can see them all surrounding him as he tells one of his famous stories.
Our hearts go out to all of you during this time of sorrow.

I remember a humerous man who loved his children and treated his daughter’s friend like an extension of his own daughter. I knew Phil 45 years. He always made me laugh and I’m certain he’s making jokes as we speak, this time in heaven with past loved ones! I wish I could be there to celebrate his memory.
