Obituary
Philip Robert Bloom of Laguna Woods, Ca passed away March 12, 2016 at the age of 79. He is survived by Mary Bloom his wife of 51 years, his 4 children Christopher, Matthew, Mark & Marnie and his 8 grandchildren. He also leaves behind a legacy of love for his family that will never be forgotten.
He was born May 26th 1936 in Youngstown, Ohio and was a devoted husband and father. His hobby in life was the restoration of antique Ford automobiles, but his passion was being a father to his children that he loved. His endless devotion to family provided a lifetime of memories that will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He was loved, honored and admired..
Memorial Services will be held at Clubhouse 6 immediately following the Mass at St. Nicholas Church. When arriving for the Memorial at the gate please say you are here for Philip Bloom Memorial.

I didn’t know Philip. But I do believe that the character of a parent shows through in their children. Knowing Marnie, tells me what a good man, he must have been.
