Patrick J. Moore

Patrick Moore, age 53, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on March 17, 2024, in Newport Beach, California while on vacation with his family.

A Viewing will be held between 4:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, April 5 at the Palm Northwest Mortuary and Cemetery.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, April 6 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Kenny officiating. The burial will follow at the Palms Northwest Mortuary and Cemetery. Concluding the day, will be a reception at the Moore Family Home.

Patrick Moore was born in Oceanside, California to Arthur and Terri Moore on April 6, 1970. Being part of a military family, Patrick lived in different parts of the world but was primarily raised in Poway, California where he completed his primary and secondary education. He attended college in Santa Barbara, California where he met his wife, Jennifer.  He and his wife married on April 29, 2000, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The two established their life and family together in Las Vegas, Nevada. Patrick worked in the mortgage industry for over 25 years, earning his title after many years of dedication as Senior Vice President and Area Manager of Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation. Outside of the office, Patrick was a devoted loving husband and father of two children. He spent countless hours caring for his family, ensuring that everyone’s needs were met. He was involved in his kids’ extracurricular activities such as piano, soccer, baseball, and swimming.  He was full of love, wisdom, inspiration, and laughter—the center of the family home. For recreation, Patrick enjoyed playing baseball, mountain biking with his wife, snowboarding, attending sporting events, traveling with his family, and socializing with friends and family.  Within the community, Patrick held philanthropy dear to his heart. Throughout his life, he volunteered his time and income to various charitable organizations including Nevada Diabetes Association, Green Alliance, Las Vegas Swim Club, Sandpipers of Nevada, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and School, Catholic Charities, Knights of Columbus, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Bishop Gorman High School, Our Helping Paws, Fairway Cares, American Warrior Initiative, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the Southern Nevada Adult Baseball League. He emulated the timeless Jewish proverb, “I ask not for a lighter burden, but for broader shoulders.”

Patrick is preceded in death by his brother, Mike Moore, and his sister, Nancy Moore. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Moore, his children, Payton Moore and Nicholas Moore, his mother, Terri Moore, his father, Arthur Moore, and his brothers, Dennis Moore and Titus Moore.
