   The Echeverria Family has known Pascual since the early 1950’s when Pascual was still single and they lived in Raymondville, Texas. We are truly grateful to Pascual for giving Casimiro & Maria, along with their 2 children Mario & Laura, a ride from Texas to Los Angeles to join other friends and future compadres as the “Texas Friends” had already begun migrating to Los Angeles. During that ride to Los Angeles Maria was already pregnant with Betty. A couple of years later, in Los Angeles, we met Carmen, Ana & Dona Otilia. A few months after Pascual & Carmen married they became Godparents to Susie, their first Godchild. The Lozano’s and Echeverria’s spent many weekends together in Los Angeles and in Trabuco Canyon. We loved our visits to Trabuco Canyon where we would visit and stay overnight & have fun playing in the countryside & going to “the moon” & also going down by the stream behind their first house. Casimiro & Maria’s children have very fond memories of those visits!

   Pascual was a humble and unselfish person who will be truly missed. May Pascual watch over his loved ones from heaven as we all know he is where he longed to be…..beside our Lord.
