Obituary

Maureen Victoria Delfin Leon Guerrero
7/5/1952-4/26/2021

Our family is from Guam and She was the matriarch of the Naputi/Delfin family. She was the eldest of 12. She has 3 children (son, daughter, daughter). She has one son-in-law and one daughter-in-law. She has 9 Grandchildren and one Great-granddaughter. She has numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. And despite how huge our family is she was in the know about everything and everyone. We are a tight knit family.

She married on 10/30/1971.

Moved to California in 1978.

She was a homemaker, wife(widow) mother, store manager on the marine corps bases, the best cook and loved cooking but pretty specific when teaching how to cook, stubborn, spunky and feisty, and loved playing pranks, best grandma and great grandma, proud of her heritage, loved bingo, going to the casino and generous when she would win, she offered a home to family in need and was the go to babysitter and family bus driver, she loved to crochet and do wordsearch puzzles, she was hilarious even if she didn’t know it and would crack up at herself sometimes, she loved watching games shows and binge watch a variety of tv shows on Netflix. She loved her firestick! She would turn karaoke into a concert because she’d sing a whole soundtrack before passing the mic, she was hip to the newest trends and tried to keep up with her grandkids, played harvest moon and mario kart as best she could,  she had the bragging rights to her kids and grands and loved to share about them,  she made friends everywhere she went, was a world traveler to visit family, she had such a caring heart and she paid attention to the small details about everyone and tried her best to spoil you with your favorite things, and even without words she was able to show her love for you, but most of all she was loved.

  1. I will carry each memory that we have shared in my heart as you watch over us all along side our loved ones. Thank you for leading our clan with dignity and grace. I love you and I know you will greet me with that smile of yours at the gates one day with your arms wide open. Save me a song and be ready to pass the mic.
