Matt was such a happy kid, I don’t think i’ve ever seen him not smile.
It saddens me that he’s gone, but he will always have a special place in my heart and has changed my life forever.

I had an opportunity to meet Matt. My son, Keane Palmer “KJ” and Matt were putting a band together. My first experience meeting Matt was driving up to my house being followed by a police car because the boys had been playing their instruments loudly and with much enthusiasm – but unfortunately the neigbors didn’t see it the same way! He was so polite and my son really liked him a lot. He says to this day, “HE WAS THE NICEST GUY I’VE EVER KNOWN”. It seems in reading the guestbook that there are many who share the same feelings…that Matt was someone you really enjoyed having in your life. His gift of making everyone feel good, always encouraging his friends is truly an inspiration for ALL of us, young and old, to aspire to be. He may have been here a short while, but he has touched many and will be missed. I know I am inspired to keep his spirit alive by striving to be a loving and caring person, like Matt, to those that cross my path – He lives on in all of us.
