Obituary
Matthew Robert Hubbard, 14, was born October 8, 1991 in California and passed away October 12, 2005 at his home in Aliso Viejo, California. Matt was a 9th grade student at Aliso Niguel High School. He is survived by his devoted father, Bill Hubbard and his step-mom, Lisa; mother, Julie Nelson and his step-father, John Nelson; loving brothers, Andrew Hubbard, Ryan Hubbard and Derrick Nelson; beloved grandfather, Robert Albert; beloved grandparents, Jim & Carol Hubbard and Carol Nelson. He was dearly loved by all and will be terribly missed by his family and many friends.

Hey Matt,
Happy 18th birthday. Wish we could go to more concerts together with your dad and Andy. I’ll never forget the great concerts we went to, including the Kenny Wayne Shephard Band, Ted Nugent, ZZ Top and Van Halen.

Matthew, it’s nuts that you are 18 now. Can’t believe these years have flown by so fast. I miss you so much. I wish I could see you again. And dad’s right, I did cut my hair! I know I said I never would but it feels good. Real good. Anyways, Happy Birthday man. See you soon. By the way, we’re celebratin on monday so watch over us!! Love you.

Happy 18th Birthday! I just wanted to write to let you know that you are gone but, not forgotten. There are so many people that love you and miss you. I wish I could be there with you right now. Today, you would have turned 18 years old. It’s hard to imagine that because before you left us, a lot of people thought that you were 18 already! Matt, I miss you so very much and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about you. If there are such a thing as birthdays in heaven then I am sure that you must be having the most glorious party ever. I love you Matt!!! Happy Birthday!!!
