Obituary
Mary Ann Jacobs was born on September 19, 1973, and passed away January 17, 2022 due to compounding medical issues. From the beginning, this little one had a challenge on her hands. Born with Cerebral Palsy, Mary faced mental and physical struggles her whole life, but that never stopped her radiant smile and welcoming nature.
It took her a couple years to learn how to talk but she made up for lost time by her willingness to talk to everyone and anyone about pretty much anything. She was more than happy to talk about what she loved, namely Baywatch, medical shows, paramedics and the Beach Boys. She was also a connoisseur of and collected Barbie Dolls, Cabbage Patch Kids, American Girl Dolls, tiaras, card making crafts and anything girly.
A life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she was never ashamed of the gospel of Christ. She loved the Savior and was willing to talk about her religion and church to anyone who would listen. She was as active as she could be in church and spent time making cards for family and church members for birthdays and holidays. Many of her nieces and nephews have received a birthday card from Aunt Mary with a dollar inside just for them.
Despite her trials and illnesses, Mary had sunshine in her soul. We will greatly miss our Aunt, Sister, Daughter and Friend.
