Loring Lewis Bigelow
November 4, 1917-July 19, 2013
Loring Bigelow, 95, of Laguna Woods passed away July 19.
He was a WWII veteran of the US Navy Armed Guard.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years Louise, daughter Emmie Miller (Doug), son Norman Bigelow, and grandchildren Erin and Colin Miller. Predeceased by daughter Marcia Grundy.

Loring is, without a doubt, my most favorite patient. I really looked forward to his visits to my office. I was, very much, impressed with is family genealogy history study and volumes he created for his children. His dedicated work on the ship, I believe, ” The Victory” was an indication of the man he was. It has been years since I have last seen him, however, he is still very fresh in my mind..Dr. Robert O’Callaghan

My wife Mary and I have wonderful memories with Loring, we were on the ill-fated trip to Acapulco (Normandy). Loring was always proud that he could still fit in his WWII uniform. Ron Stahl ronormary@gmail.com
