Obituary

Kathleen M. Smith was born on December 30, 1970 in Davenport, Iowa. She moved with her family to Laguna Niguel, California, in 1975.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Maureen Smith, and is survived by her father, James Smith; her sister Patricia M. Dickmann; and her brothers James E., Thomas P., and Daniel F. Smith. Kathleen has five nieces, Kaitlin and Meghan Dickmann, Allison Smith, and Emily and Noelle Smith.

Kathleen attended Esperanza School in Mission Viejo, where she received a Certificate of Completion in August, 1993. She continued her career at Vocational Visions to the present. Kathleen distinguished herself with a radiant smile and a good-natured hello wave. Kathy was unique for her beautiful blue eyes, her curly black hair and her total joy for life.

A mass for the repose of Kathleen’s soul will be said at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Laguna Niguel on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. with interment following the mass at Ascension Cemetery in Lake Forest.
